How to Withdraw from Underdog Predict: A Complete Guide

By PredictQ Team // Updated: August 2026

Withdrawing from Underdog Predict is free at the platform level and usually done within 24 to 72 hours. Four methods are supported: bank transfer through Trustly, debit card, PayPal, and Venmo. The one wrinkle that trips people up is that Predict and DFS run on completely separate wallets, so know which balance you’re pulling from before you start.

Here’s every method, the verification requirements, and the handful of issues that actually delay payouts.

Before You Withdraw

Confirm four things:

  1. Your account is fully verified. Every KYC step complete.

  2. The money is settled cash in the Predict wallet. Open positions sit in escrow until resolution and don’t count toward your withdrawable balance.

  3. You’re in the right wallet. Predict funds and DFS funds don’t mix. Each product has its own payment rails and its own withdrawal flow.

  4. You clear the minimum, typically $10 depending on method.

Bank Transfer Withdrawals (Trustly)

The default for most users. Open the Predict section, tap the wallet icon, select Withdraw, choose Bank Transfer (Trustly), pick your linked bank account (or add one through Trustly’s verification flow), enter the amount, and confirm.

Funds arrive in 1-3 business days. Free from Underdog; a few banks charge incoming transfer fees, but that’s rare on consumer accounts. First-time withdrawals may trigger an extra identity check beyond initial KYC, which is standard practice on CFTC-regulated platforms.

Debit Card Withdrawals

The fastest route to cash. Predict wallet, Withdraw, Debit Card, pick your linked card, enter the amount, confirm. Funds typically land within hours, sometimes minutes, depending on your card issuer. Free from Underdog.

PayPal Withdrawals

Available if you have a verified PayPal account linked to Underdog. Same flow: wallet, Withdraw, PayPal, confirm the account, enter the amount. Funds usually appear within 24 hours, free from Underdog, standard PayPal policies apply.

One hard rule: the PayPal account name must match your Underdog account name exactly. A mismatch fails the withdrawal, full stop.

Venmo Withdrawals

Same pattern. Wallet, Withdraw, Venmo, enter your account information, confirm. Fast settlement, often within hours, free from Underdog. And the same name-match rule applies: Venmo account name must equal Underdog account name.

Account Verification Requirements

Before your first withdrawal, Underdog may ask for a government-issued photo ID, proof of address if you haven’t submitted it, a selfie liveness check, and tax information if your volume crosses 1099-B reporting thresholds. Most users do this once and never again.

Mechanics That Affect Your Withdrawable Balance

  1. Only settled cash withdraws. Unresolved markets are escrowed.

  2. You can sell positions early through the Track tab to convert them to cash at the current market price if you need funds before settlement. You’ll pay the $0.02 per contract early-close fee to do it.

  3. Predict withdrawals pull from the Predict wallet only. DFS winnings exit through the DFS flow.

  4. Every receiving account must match your Underdog account name. Banks, cards, PayPal, Venmo, all of them.

  5. Tax reporting: Predict winnings are treated as capital gains and reported on 1099-B forms past the thresholds. DFS winnings report separately under fantasy sports rules.

Predict Withdrawals vs DFS Withdrawals

Same app, two different exits. The Predict flow pulls from the Predict wallet and reports winnings as capital gains on 1099-B forms, because event contracts sit under federal CFTC regulation. The DFS flow pulls from your fantasy balance and reports under state fantasy sports rules on separate forms.

Practically, that means you can’t consolidate. If you have $200 in DFS winnings and $200 in settled Predict cash, that’s two withdrawal requests through two flows, each subject to its own verification state and minimums. Trying to withdraw your full Underdog balance through one flow is the most common source of confusion we hear about, and it’s working as designed, not a bug.

Common Withdrawal Issues

Five problems cover nearly every stuck withdrawal:

  1. Stuck in pending: Usually an outstanding verification request. Check the wallet section for status and required actions.

  2. Insufficient withdrawable balance: Your money is in open positions, not cash.

  3. Name mismatch: The destination account doesn’t exactly match your Underdog name.

  4. Incomplete verification: A KYC step is still open.

  5. State restrictions: A method isn’t offered where you are.

If a Withdrawal Won’t Move

Work the list in order: check the wallet for status updates and required actions, confirm verification is complete, then contact Underdog support through the in-app help center (responses typically within 24 hours). If the funds left Underdog but haven’t landed, the issue is on the receiving side, so call your bank, card issuer, PayPal, or Venmo.

Processing Times by Method

  • Debit card: hours to 1 day

  • PayPal: up to 24 hours

  • Venmo: up to 24 hours

  • Trustly bank transfer: 1-3 business days

Nearly everything clears within 72 hours of the request, with cards and digital wallets beating bank transfers.

Bottom Line

Underdog Predict withdrawals are free, reasonably fast, and flexible across four methods. Verify once, keep the receiving account name identical to your Underdog name, and remember that Predict and DFS are two different wallets with two different exits. And now that Underdog runs its own CFTC-licensed exchange and clearinghouse, settlement and payouts sit under one roof. With the IG Group acquisition pending, we laid out what we want to see next in our open letter to Underdog’s new owners.

Get those three things right and your money moves in a day. Haven’t signed up yet? Open an Underdog account and you get both wallets in one app. The Play $5, Get $50 welcome offer still applies to the DFS side only, not Predict.
